Throughout a man's lifetime, he should be expected to do certain things. Activities such as ordering a beer, changing a tire, the list goes on. However here is our list of 12 things that every BOSS should know how to do.
1. KNOW HOW TO TIE A BOW-TIE
Don't be cheap. Don't go out and buy a clip-on bow-tie. There are plenty of YouTube tutorials and 'How To Tie A Bow-Tie' guides out there. You might attend one black tie event a year, but being able to tie a bow-tie is a MUST for any Boss.
2. LEARN HOW TO PLAY POKER
The game of poker is immensely popular all around the world. From Vegas to your basement, a game of poker is always a secret indulgence. Learn how to play it well.
3. OPEN A BOTTLE OF CHAMPAGNE
We're not saying you should be going all Dan Bilzerian and go poppin' bottles every night; but knowing how to properly open a bottle of champagne is a must.
4. BE ABLE TO CHANGE A TIRE
We get it, we're living in the 21st century. You can pick up your smartphone and call AAA or the local mechanic to come a change your flat tire. That is simple and convenient.
Plot Twist: You are on a back country road in the middle of nowhere with no cell reception. Knowing how to change your tire might just save your life and even your marriage. Once again, youtube videos and 'How To Change A Tire' tutorials can be found all over the internet.
5. KNOW HOW TO CHANGE A LIGHT-BULB
This shouldn't be on the list, but believe it or not, not every man know how to change a light bulb. Yes, that is unbelievable; we agree. That's why this is one of the most important things that a man should know how to do.
6. LEARN HOW TO HOST A PARTY
No, we're not talking about your typical frat party with lame drinking games on your front lawm. We mean an actual event. Ever seen the Great Gatsby? That's what we're talking about. From getting the right music, drinks and even a guest list; every boss should know how to host a party.

7. SMOKE A CIGAR
"Why pay $100 on a therapy session when you can spend $25 on a cigar?" – Raul Julia. And quite right he was too, a gentleman should know not just how to smoke one, but how to appreciate one.
8. BE ABLE TO LIVE WITHIN HIS MEANS
Money is key. Knowing how to budget and save or just be careful with your money is a very valuable trait to have. Don't blow your money on gambling or excessive amount of drinks at the bar. Save it, know where it is and what it is being used for.
9. LEARN HOW TO START A FIRE
Knowing how to start a fire is great for those cold winter nights. Pour yourself a nice cup of hot cocoa or a nice glass of whiskey and enjoy. Also useful if you find yourself in a survival situation, just saying. Learn to start a fire is a must for any Boss.
10. BE ABLE TO COOK A SIGNATURE MEAL
Every woman loves a man who knows how to cook. No, we don't mean grilled cheese or TV dinners. Having at least one signature dish, with maybe a secret ingredient, goes a long way. If you don't know any, now is the time to start learning.
11. CHOOSE THE RIGHT WINE
Don't become a wine-snob. No one likes those. Just knowing a little bit of wine knowledge can go a long way; like breaking down those daunting wine menus. A true Boss should know which wine to pick to go with which meal, with confidence.
12. ACCEPT ADVICE
It might not be easy, and you may not want to hear it; but every Boss should know how to accept advice. Not only will you learn a thing or two, life might become a little more easier in the long run.
