Q&A With 16 Year-Old Entrepreneur Casey Adams

While scanning the Instagram world looking for our latest publication about an entrepreneur, 16-year-old Casey Adams caught our attention. After suffering a neck injury playing football, Casey started his quest for personal development. That is where it all started.

He used his recovery time for reading up on the latest entrepreneurs and even started an online business selling t-shirts and wristbands known as ‘Rise Of The Young’.

Casey Adams found using Snapchat, Twitter, and Instagram he could reach a lot of folks and quickly gain followers. He is KILLING it in the Instagram space with 29k followers (and counting) pulling in roughly a little over $5k a MONTH!

He is doing so well on Snapchat he created his own SnapChat Marketing Course on RiseUpMarketing.net and now runs a social media marketing agency Ebo Target Marketing.

Casey was kind enough to take the time an do a quick Q&A with us about his experiences as an entrepreneur thus far.

Who comes to mind when you think ‘successful’?

When I think about success, a few people who pop out to me are Gary
Vaynerchuk, Tai Lopez, Gerard Adams, Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, and Warren
Buffet.

Who comes to mind when you think ‘punch-able’?

When I think of punch-able I think about people who complain about their
life, but do nothing to change it. People must be willing to put in work if
they want to see changes.

What advice would you give your 20 year old self?

The advice I would give to my 20 year old self would be, no matter where
you are in life never give up. Also, I would tell myself to focus on my
strengths and stay ahead of the trends online. Another key thing I would
tell my 20 year old self is to focus on creating value, and leaving a
legacy.

What’s the crappiest job you’ve had?

As a 16 yr old entrepreneur I’ve never had a job in my life because I
decided to work online.

What would your theme song/entrance music be?

The Script Hall of Fame ft. will.i.am

What person, living or dead, would you choose to help you make decisions?

If I was able to go to one person to help me make decisions I would go to
Tony Robbins because he is a very wise person.

What are you really not very good at?

I am not really good at singing, as well as playing music instruments but
I plan to change that.

What is your favorite quote?

“The more you learn, the more you earn” Frank A. Clark

If you could relive ONE moment in your life, which would you choose and why?

I would relive the moment when I was on The Great Wall of China because it
was such an amazing moment that I will never forget.

What is your morning routine?

Well right now I am in school so my routine consists of me getting ready
for school, and eating breakfast.

Best under $100 purchase?

The best purchase I’ve made for under $100 was the Tai Lopez 67 step
program that helped build habits into my mind that have helped me get to
where I am.

If you could only leave behind 3 truths of life as your legacy, what would
they be?

If I could only leave 3 truths for my legacy I would leave,

  1. “You must
    give, in order to receive.”
  2. “You only regret the
    things you don’t do.”
  3. “To take your life to the next level, you must
    take risks.”

Best tip/strategy for overcoming self doubt?

The best way to overcome self doubt is by surrounding yourself with
positive people who lift you up.

Best places you have traveled to and the cultures you most liked?

The best places I’ve traveled to are Beijing, Xi’an, Shanghai, and Hong
Kong. The Chinese culture is the culture that I like the best because they
find meaning in the little things.

What is your greatest fear? (What are you afraid of…the real day-to-day
fears…things that make you nervous… are you ever awkward?)

One of my biggest fears is getting into a car accident because I’ve torn a
ligament in my spine, and they would not go well.

What is your biggest frustration right now?

My biggest frustration as of right now is not spending as much time
reading as I want to.

What attributes, actions or behaviors contributed to your success (made you
an outlier)?

The main thing that has attributed to my success so far is that I am an
action taker. There are so many young individuals who have ideas, but they
never execute on them. Also, I have a vision, and I prepare myself for my
future. You must Mentally Identify New Directions in you life, and start
using your MIND.

What are your best time management hacks?

Write down what you want to get done every single day, and check them off
as you do them. It will keep you organized, and keep you on track.
